Friday winter doubles matchplay tournaments

  • On the first Friday of every month - November 4, December 2 2011, January 6, February 3, March 2 2012.
  • Junior members aged 10-16: 5pm-7pm.
  • Adult members and junior members aged 17+: 7pm-9pm.
  • Cost: £5 per person per tournament. Pay on the night.
  • Mix-in friendly doubles play (Amanda will organise).
  • Coaching tips & tactics offered.
  • You don't need a partner - just turn up!
  • Please arrive at the BEGINNING of your session.
  • The emphasis is on fun - a great way to both meet new people and improve your game.
  • Maximum 16 players on the floodlit courts.
  • Timed matches so everyone gets plenty of play.
  • Hot drinks provided!

    JUNIOR WINTER TEAM TENNIS TOURNAMENTS 2011/2012 AT KNARESBOROUGH KING JAMES’S TENNIS CLUB
  • Open to all juniors who have a British Tennis Membership number.(If not, go to www.lta.org.uk/Members/Join and get one free!)
  • FORMAT: 2 PLAYERS PER TEAM, EACH TEAM PLAYS 2 SINGLES & 1 DOUBLES PER ROUND. MINIMUM OF 2 ROUNDS PER TOURNAMENT.
  • MAX OF 8 TEAMS PER TOURNAMENT.
  • COST: £5 PER PERSON, PER TOURNAMENT.
  • PRIZES FOR WINNING TEAMS!
    WHAT TO DO TO ENTER:
  • 1. Find a partner in the same age group as you. Choose a teamname!!
  • 2. Text or email Amanda giving me both your full names, British Tennis Membership numbers, which tournament date(s) your want to enter (ie Green 13/11, 12/02), contact tel no’s, email address & your teamname!
  • 3. I will contact you within 48 hrs to confirm.
  • 4. Turn up on the day PROMPTLY, with your £5 per person and wrapped up warm (hats, gloves etc). If your partner drops out, find another one and/or let Amanda know immediately please. ONLY £5 PER PERSON PER TOURNAMENT!(Pay on the day)

  • GREEN (Born 1/4/01 – 31/3/02): 1.00pm start, Nov 13th, Nov 27th, Feb 12th, March 18th
  • 12 & UNDER (AGES 11-12): 11.00am start, Nov 6th, Nov 20th, Feb 5th, March 4th.
  • 14 & UNDER (AGES 11-14): 1.00pm start, Nov 6th, Nov 20th, Feb 5th, March 4th.
  • 18 & UNDER (AGES 11-18): 1.00pm start, Nov 6th, Nov 20th, Feb 5th, March 4th.
