The Present: ......where we are now.....Knaresborough Tennis Club provides tennis for players of all ages and abilities in the town and surrounding area. - Unrestricted use (outside school hours) of 9 porous macadam courts at King James School, King James Road, Knaresborough, HG5 8EB and extensive use of the clubhouse.
- Regular club play for adults
- A full range of coaching, club play and competitive play for junior members provided by No Limits School of Coaching.
- Competitive play for adults of various ability levels in local doubles leagues.
- Very low subscription rates make tennis affordable to all.
- Affiliated to LTA - Wimbledon ticket allocation, player ratings, etc.

Future Development: .....and where we are headed....The Club Committee is close to achieving a long term goal in establishing a permanent, independent base for the Club at Hay-a-Park, a short distance east of the town centre. This would be a joint venture with Knaresborough Rugby Club and share changing, social and parking facilities. Harrogate Borough Council has granted planning permission for floodlit tennis courts at the site, and it now remains for the Club to secure sufficient funds to proceed with the project, in conjunction with the Rugby Club.
In the meantime, tennis will continue at King James School. |  |
